Spelling Words: are, air, ear, ere words

Vocabulary
1) pale– light in color.
2) drops– small amounts of liquids.
3) excite– to stir up.
4) outdoors– not inside.
5) alliteration– words that start with the same letter or beginning sound.
6) repetition– a word or line that is written two or more times in a poem.
7) free verse– poetry that does not rhyme.
8) simile– comparing two things using like or as
Homework
Monday– NO SCHOOL
Tuesday– Spelling– Write your spelling words 3 times each.
Wednesday– Reading– Read the Reading passage front and back and answer the questions. Study for your Vocabulary and Spelling tests.
Thursday– Get plenty of rest for the Fun Run!!
