Vocabulary
1. damage– injury or harm that happens to something
2. dangerous– not safe
3. destroy– to break something so it cannot be used again
4. event– something that happens
5. harsh– something that is difficult and does not feel good
6. prevent– to stop something before it happens
7. warning– something that lets you know danger is possible
8. weather– what the air is like at a certain place and time
Homework
Monday– Spelling– Write your spelling words 3 times each.
Tuesday– Vocabulary– Write a sentence with each vocabulary word
Wednesday– Math-Complete math sheet back and front
Thursday– Reading– Read the reading passage ”The Wild Winds of a Tornado” and answer questions 11-17. Study for your Reading and Spelling Test tomorrow!
